What We’re Looking For
● Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field (or equivalent native/near-native fluency and domain knowledge).
● Philosophy: Dedication to language teaching best practices that build foundational communication skills, cultural appreciation, and confidence in young learners.
● Skills: Native or near-native Spanish proficiency, comfort with modern classroom technology (Google Classroom), strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to culturally responsive teaching.
● Mindset: An energetic team player with high motivation, flexibility, and a great sense of humor.
Key Responsibilities (In Brief)
● Design and lead engaging Spanish lessons tailored for 6th–8th grade (2–3 class sections daily).
● Foster a positive, supportive, and communicative classroom environment.
● Support campus community life through shared duties (recess duty, lunch supervision, all-school meetings, community gatherings, etc.).
Compensation & Schedule
● Schedule: Part-Time (2–3 classes daily, schedule options negotiable to ensure that they are “clustered” either all in the morning or all in the afternoon).
● Compensation: Competitive pay, commensurate with experience
