Unquowa School, an independent PreK–8 school, seeks a highly organized and service-oriented Technology Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day technology support and serve as the school’s liaison with Sourcepass, its managed service provider (MSP).

This position will resolve routine technology issues, coordinate more complex needs with Sourcepass, and support schoolwide systems and scheduling.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line and intermediate technical support for devices, software, connectivity, user accounts, classroom technology, and school platforms.
  • Document and escalate advanced technical issues to Sourcepass and coordinate their resolution.
  • Support Sourcepass with the deployment and management of the school’s MacBook devices through Jamf, including setup, inventory, repairs, and end-of-lease returns.
  • Administer and troubleshoot the Zoom phone system.
  • Maintain accounts, access, and permissions for Google Workspace for Education, the LMS, SIS, Active Directory, SchoolMessenger, and subscription-based platforms, and troubleshoot projectors, displays, and other school technology.
  • Train and support faculty, staff, students and parents in the use of the school’s LMS.
  • Oversee registrations and related updates in the Programs Module of the LMS.
  • Set up and provide technology support for school programs and events.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to create and maintain schedules for classes, classrooms, faculty, rehearsals, and testing.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing front-line and intermediate technical support.
  • Experience managing Apple devices through Jamf required.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Zoom required.
  • Experience supporting Google Workspace for Education preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Apple devices, cloud-based platforms, and user-account management.
  • Experience supporting an LMS and training users with varying levels of technical experience.
  • Experience with school scheduling or scheduling software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • School technology experience and a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred.

Summer hours are required for device deployment, maintenance, scheduling, and preparation for the school year, with flexibility based on school needs. Occasional evening or weekend availability may also be required to provide technology support for school events.
