The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full-time English Teacher to begin teaching in August of 2026. The preferred candidate has a minimum of five years of teaching experience, a degree in the subject, and the ability to teach the breadth of the high school English curriculum. Candidates should show enthusiasm for collaboration and strive to ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational to their teaching.
Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and in addition to teaching English, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or affiliation as well as participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills. Housing may be available.
