Director of Operations and Finance

St. Thomas’s Day School, a warm and inclusive independent Episcopal school in New Haven serving approximately 120 students in Kindergarten through Grade 6, seeks a collaborative and strategic Director of Operations & Finance. Reporting to the Head of School, this senior leader will oversee the school’s operational infrastructure—including human resources, facilities, and administrative systems—while providing financial leadership in budgeting, planning, and analysis.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Director will partner closely with the Head of School and Board of Trustees to strengthen operational effectiveness, support long-term financial sustainability, and ensure that systems and resources align with the school’s mission and growth.
