offering a diverse program that goes beyond the ordinary. From exhilarating sports and creative
arts & crafts to immersive nature exploration, our dedicated Specialists lead each activity,
ensuring top-notch guidance and skill development for campers. Alongside them, our caring
Group Counselors create a safe and inclusive space where every child feels seen and valued.


Job Description:
We're seeking two Preschool Head Counselors to guide a group of approximately 22 campers
ages 3-4 and ages 4-5 alongside a dedicated team of ~4 staff members. This includes an adult
senior assistant and enthusiastic college-age counselors, making for a collaborative and
energetic environment.

Your role goes beyond leading the group. You'll nurture the social, emotional, and physical
development of young campers in a safe and playful space. Imagine facilitating engaging
activities like sports, arts & crafts, nature exploration, and even swimming alongside our expert

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of counselors responsible for the daily care and activities of young campers.
  • Safety & Comfort: Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all campers, adhering to all camp policies and safety procedures.
  • Individualized Care: Provide personalized attention to each camper, addressing their individual needs and fostering positive emotional development.
  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with parents, counselors, and camp staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience working with children ages 3-5.
  • Strong understanding of child development and best practices for early childhood.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive and energetic demeanor with passion for creating fun and camp experiences.
  • Camp runs from June 22nd - August 14th, Monday through Friday 9am – 4:30pm.
