Dance Teacher (K-12)- maternity leave replacement (February- March 2026)

The school offers a coed program for young children at the Barat Center for Early Childhood Education and then an all-girls experience from K-12 on our 110-acre campus in Greenwich, Connecticut. We are proudly part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.
We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Dance Teacher to cover a maternity leave from approximately February through March 2026.
Position: Dance Teacher- maternity leave replacement (February-March 2026)
Reports to: Heads of Upper, Middle and Lower School; Performing Arts Chair
FLSA Status: Exempt
Key Responsibilities & Flexibility:
- This is a temporary contract with the potential for extension.
- The ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable to evolving needs.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience teaching students across the full age range of K-12th grade.
- Proficiency in teaching multiple styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and/or Contemporary. Knowledge of Liturgical Dance is a plus, but not required.
