Job Title: Lower School Early Childhood Teacher (Pre-kindergarten) - Maternity Leave Position

Duration: Temporary, February 2026 – early May 2026
King School seeks a temporary Lower School Pre-Kindergarten educator to cover a maternity leave from February 2026 through early May 2026. The teacher will join the Early Childhood team and collaborate with talented educators to deliver a comprehensive, creative, and developmentally appropriate program for three-, four-, and five-year-olds.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, Reggio-inspired early childhood program grounded in the school’s mission and commitment to inquiry-based learning, student agency, and joyful discovery.
Classifications:
This is a temporary full-time position to cover a maternity leave from February 2026 through early May 2026. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and aligned with King School’s faculty salary structure.
