Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and three years of experience in marketing communications, with a concentration on digital marketing and social media management. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team to help develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management
      • Help develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across all major platforms.
      • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written) for social media.
      • Monitor social media trends and incorporate relevant topics into the content strategy.
      • Engage with online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Website Management/Digital Presence
      • Oversee website content management process and page updates
      • Maintain school’s digital profiles.
  • Content Creation and Management
      • Create compelling and engaging content for digital channels, including school’s website, blogs, social media, and email newsletters.
      • Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content that align with the school’s voice and objectives.
      • Help manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all marketing materials.
  • Brand Management
      • Maintain and drive the school’s brand and voice across all communications.
      • Ensure brand consistency in all marketing and promotional materials.
      • Manage branded apparel and swag development.
  • Collaboration and Project Management
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including admissions, development, alum engagement, and administration, to align marketing efforts with the school’s strategic priorities.
    • Help manage related projects from concept to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as required.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in marketing communications with emphasis on digital and social media management.
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites, Canva or Adobe Cloud Suite, Google Analytics, and social media management tools required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of design and print production a strong plus.
  • Strong copy editing skills are a plus.
  • SEO strategy development and performance monitoring/analytics.
