Grace Academy seeks part-time math teacher. The teacher will be part of a school team consisting of salaried teachers at the 5th to 8th grade levels, and AmeriCorps teaching Fellows.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree (at minimum); commit to a career of professional growth and the mission and core values of Grace Academy’s educational model; and demonstrate a passion for the education of young women. Teach 6th Grade and 8th Grade math curriculum aligned to state and school standards.
Create engaging, student-centered lessons that support diverse learning styles.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
