Physical Education Teacher 2025–2026 School Year
For 50 years, Villa Maria School has believed in the extraordinary capabilities of every student. As we look ahead to the 2025–26 school year, we are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Education teacher to join our dedicated team.
At Villa, our students thrive in a small class environment that emphasizes both skill remediation and social-emotional growth. Each class is intentionally grouped by learning profile, allowing teachers to target academic and developmental goals throughout the school day.
Our PE program plays a critical role in helping students build physical confidence, coordination, teamwork, and self-esteem. The ideal candidate will design and deliver adaptive physical education experiences that meet students where they are, supporting a range of needs including language-based learning disorders, auditory processing challenges, nonverbal learning disabilities, ASD, and ADHD.
We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, flexibility, and a sense of humor to their work. Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills are essential, along with a passion for helping students develop healthy habits and a love of movement.
If you're excited to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and support their academic, social, and emotional success, we’d love to hear from you.
