The Mead School, a small, unique progressive K-8 school in North Stamford, CT, founded in 1969, seeks an experienced Kindergarten through 5th Grade science teacher and curriculum director with experience teaching across a wide spectrum of students and all areas of science.
The Mead School Science Curriculum Director is responsible for curriculum development, instruction, and assessment associated with grades K-5. A second Science teacher works with our middle school students and welcomes partnership with this new position. This is a small, highly personal community that values the social emotional lives of all its members. Since Mead has only one K-5 science teacher, the position has unusual autonomy and freedom of curriculum design.
