The Master’s School of West Simsbury, Connecticut is currently accepting applications for a

Bus Driver for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning in September 2025. Ample time is being provided for training and processing of required endorsement. This is a part-time position. 

 

Job Description

Safe transportation of children from designated pick-up locations to The Master’s School on school day mornings and afternoons for Athletic events as needed. May include other opportunities to drive for field trips.

 

Requirements include:                                                                                             

  • CT Class D valid driver’s license. “V” endorsement required, or willing to obtain such endorsement. – TMS will provide information and process for obtaining
  • Excellent driving record
  • Able to submit and pass a background checks along with random drug tests
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of assigned vehicles/buses.
  • Ability to supervise children well

 

All Faculty and staff must agree to and sign our Statement of Faith and Guidelines for Service.

The Master's School is a non-denominational, Christian, college-preparatory day school enrolling boys and girls in preschool through grade 12.  The school has three sections:  Lower (preschool - grade 5), Middle (grades 6-8), and Upper (grades 9-12).  The school is located on a beautifully wooded 76-acre, 11-building campus with three athletic fields in West Simsbury.  The school serves families from more than 40 towns throughout the central Connecticut and southwestern Massachusetts areas. 

 

Founded in 1970, The Master's School is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. Enrollment typically is around 200 students, with classes averaging 15 students.
